Planting the future in Morukakise.
Construction in Buikwe is running at full speed. However, we recently took the time to visit the place where our clinic will one day rise in the future.
The village of Morukakise in the Ngora region hosted a massive celebration that brought together thousands of local neighbors. The event featured a mass led by the local bishop, the blessing of a new school built by our friends from the local organization MIDA, and above all—the blessing of our land and a joint tree-planting ceremony.

While construction in Buikwe is in full swing, our team visited our future site in the Ngora region to join a massive community celebration, bless our land, and plant trees with the local bishop.
We have been talking about the Ngora region for several years now; it was originally intended to be the site of the very first SSUUBO clinic. Fate had other plans, handing us our mission and challenges in Buikwe. We didn't just stand by—we took action, and today we are building in Buikwe. Meanwhile, our land in Ngora is patiently waiting for our next steps. We have common sense, we know our limits, and we are letting it wait for the right time.
Our entire team from Buikwe made the trip as well, getting a firsthand look at our future second home—a place where they will one day mentor new colleagues and share what SSUUBO is truly about.
In Buikwe we build walls, in Ngora we plant roots. Quite literally.
We are SSUUBO. Planting the future.
