Visit from the Czech Embassy in Nairobi
Mr. Albert Jasanský from the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Nairobi visited our project in Buikwe, toured the construction site with our lead architect, and observed our new ultrasound machine funded by the MFA Czech Republic's Small Scale Projects program.

We had the great honor of welcoming Mr. Albert Jasanský, Trade and Political Officer from the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Nairobi, to our project in Buikwe, Uganda.
During the visit, we introduced Mr. Jasanský to the critical challenges of sickle cell disease, which affects numerous pediatric and adult patients in this region. We presented our current temporary clinical operations at the St. John Paul II Clinic and toured the construction site of our new healthcare facility. The site tour was guided personally by our lead architect, Ing. arch. Nina Ratočka Pevná.
A highlight of the visit was demonstrating our new diagnostic ultrasound machine in active clinical operation. We acquired this essential diagnostic equipment thanks to financial grant support from the Small Scale Projects program, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and administered by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Nairobi.
We are deeply grateful for the continuous support from the Czech Republic, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Embassy in Nairobi. This development partnership enables us to make a lasting impact on healthcare quality and accessibility in Uganda.
Thank you for the visit and for your trust in our mission!
